Report on the restoration of a Guercino on the Campidoglio, Rome, n.d.

This is a report on the restoration of Giovanni Francesco Barbieri [Guercino's] picture of Cleopatra, painted for Cardinal Sacchetti in 1640. A heavily corrected draft, undated but not after 1850, the report describes the painting as hanging in the gallery established on the Campidoglio by Benedict XIV.
